Aquapanel

If you are building a wall or laying a floor, and then intending to tile it, in a bathroom, shower, kitchen or any other area where moisture might be present, you need a tile backing board that won't be damaged by moisture absorption and subsequent breakdown. Most other sheet materials, such as plasterboard or chipboard, soon begin to deteriorate in these areas and eventually the tiles may fall off.

Aquapanel is a glass reinforced cement board, designed to be used as a high performance tile backing board. It combines all the benefits of drywall construction with the confidence of a cement rendered background. It has a number of advantages over conventional tile backing boards; -

• Unaffected by normal domestic temperature extremes and changes
• Retains strength in damp and moist conditions
