The time came a few years ago for Mr & Mrs Westbrook to move from Kent to the beautiful coastal area of Barton on Sea. They recently made the decision to set about having a new bathroom. From some initial local enquiries of where to go about starting this process, they were recommended to take a visit to Dunkley Tiles & Bathrooms. Not the easiest showrooms to find but when they did, it was Liz who greeted them both. With amazing lifestyle settings to select tiles & bathrooms from and with the knowledgeable Liz to assist and advise, a plan and costs were put together. The final bathroom included products from Aqualisa, Catalano, Vitra, HIB and the tiles chosen were Nu Travertine Silver. The quality of the workmanship carried out by local installer James Rayner of MJ Fitters made the whole experience seamless.
“The number and size of the settings in your showrooms helped us make an informed decision on what we were looking for and Liz was able to offer great advice and provide good advice on design and practicality”

Emma and Malcolm recently moved into their new property and began a complete refurbishment throughout. They both run a successful telecommunications business and strongly believe in supporting local independent businesses wherever possible, and this is why they decided to visit Dunkley Tiles & Bathrooms. They then met Simon who set about suggesting various designs and colour options on the tile choices and helped in their final decision making. They decided upon the grey Nature wood effect tiles for the floor and Micron 2.0 White Natural 30x60cm tiles for the walls. They then instructed Vaughan Addison of Independent Living Space to carry out the installation and one of their many rooms has now been completed to a high standard.
“Simon was lovely and extremely helpful and provided us both with invaluable advice”

In spite of knowing all about Dunkley Tiles & Bathrooms, it was Jason Paul, the installer, who suggested that Mrs Vaughan visits us, along with other retailers in the area, to select tiles for her five bathrooms that she was looking to modernise as part of some re-modelling within her home. Mrs Vaughen was met by Liz Godfrey, who guided her through a number of options that included the amazing 60x120cm polished Sequoie porcelain tiles, which were selected for the cloakroom, along with Valmalenco and CitySense tiles for the other bathrooms. The installation was carried out to exact standards and Mrs Vaughen’s choice of tiles were the perfect match to the quality of the bathroom fixtures and fittings.
“Dunkley Tiles & Bathrooms had by far the best and most inspiring showrooms that I visited, and along with the helpful assistance of Liz, I was able to make the choices I did with confidence.”

Having moved to Dorset from Surrey, Mr & Mrs Hensler found a new property that required some modernisation including all four bathrooms. They discovered Dunkley Tiles & Bathrooms through a search on Google and following a visit to the showrooms met up with Laila Logina who helped set about helping create a number of bathrooms designs. Whilst Mr & Mrs Hensler had a good vision of what they both wanted to achieve in style and products, it was a collaborative effort that brought about a number of truly stunning bathrooms that included 45cm x 90cm Nu Travertine Honey porcelain tiles and Lefroy Brooks bathroom products. Everything was installed to a high quality with forensic accuracy by D&B Bathroom Installations.
“My wife and I were extremely impressed with the lifestyle showroom settings at Dunkley’s which helped in the decision process, but in particular with Laila who not only provided inspiring design options but listened carefully to our needs and thoughts throughout.”

Mrs Dodd is a regular customer and had recently undertook an exciting project involving the design of a new kitchen and living area. With a bespoke hand painted kitchen, Mrs Dodd was keen to source traditional and authentic limestone tiles to complement the look and feel of this space. Having visited our showroom, Simon Crane was on hand to show the French Limestone porcelain range called Loire that best met the needs of Mrs Dodd. By combining the traditional components of style and quality then this range, in the colour ‘Moka’ with its numerous different facings, enhances and adds an authentic lived in atmosphere to this wonderful living space. The installation of these tiles was carried out to a very high standard by Simon Roff.
“Both Simon Roff the tiler and Simon Crane in the showroom were very helpful in their understanding of my particular requirements. I found Dunkley Tiles & Bathrooms to be an excellent retail experience and once again showed why a good independent retailer is always my first point of call.”
