Dunkley Tiles, one of the leading suppliers and fitters of high quality tiles on the south coast, have announced a key new appointment within its head office.
Having been with the company for a total of 17 years, Charlie Rodgers has been promoted to lead the team as Sales and Commercial Director. Charlie’s responsibilities have now grown and his new role will include all sales and purchasing, expansion and also building new business throughout the UK.
As a key business decision maker within the company, and responsible for the management of the team, Charlie holds a pivotal role within Dunkley Tiles.
Speaking about his appointment Charlie said: “This is a very exciting opportunity and I’m looking forward to working with both existing and new business partners to ensure Dunkley Tiles’ success.”
“Having started my career as a van driver with Dunkley Tiles, working my way up the ladder to sales representative, I then decided to explore pastures new and gained valuable experience working as National Operations Manager with Ryder Truck Rental. In 1999 I was asked to return to Dunkley Tiles in the role of Commercial Director and have never looked back. In my new role of Sales and Commercial Director, I feel I have experience in all aspects of the business and can take into consideration all views, a valid asset when managing a team.”

Charlie brings with him more than 30 years experience in both sales and management within a variety of industries. With a wealth of knowledge and key contacts, Charlie will be instrumental in expanding the UK market.
